I SHOT UNDER HER

ok Sat. afternoon i was wanting to take a nice fat doe.... she came out right under the feeder witch is 78 yrds. away i took my careful aim right behind the shoulder took the shot.... seen the dirt fly up doe ran off like she was never hit ...WTH!!!!......went down and found whit hair and no blood no deer went back the next morning look again no deer......

My question is how does this happen i was dead on the doe and this very same thing happen to me last season...what am i doing wrong?

I dont know if there is a way to awnser that ,there are so many reasons why a perfectly good hunter misses an easy
shot. I would say this I have missed deer and yotes holding steady, exhaleing, squeezing gently, all the right stuff and
its nothing but dirt!!!!! Some times things just dont work out. Go check your rifle at the range and forget about that
bullet proof doe!!.........................................Cull

Thanks Cull man ....Well im gonna get back on the road to the lease Sunday after Xmas and try it again ....funny how this happen i took a buck and a doe early in the season with no prob. ...but thats what huntin all about .......Too be continue........

Red, Man , you could have had one of those stray bullets. Was you shooting the ammo you use on a regular basis or the one that your gun. Likes?
