Anytime RD, he finally decided (after he was skinned and quartered mind you) that he wanted to have him mounted..lol The taxi said he'll wait for another pelt to come in and it'll all be good.
I told him to be sure before he started cutting, but nooooooo.. lol !! He's as hard headed as I am....

I understand, it happens to me all the time!!
So used to getting them into the cooler quick!
Its easy to forget to cut a cape in that hide!!!!!!!!!!

One word!!..I did the same thing on a 140" buck...cut the cape to far up the chest cavity.... the tax man said the same thing but he used a doe cape....i didnt know there was a difference but mount looks like crap..... Beware!
