After my last hunt with the misfire, I was a little worried about my next shot.

I had to watch the deer for about 20 minutes, walking myself thru everything, trying not to overthink it.

Finally, the spike gave me a broadside shot with head down and I was able to draw without him noticing and let it fly. Perfect shot! Whew! Short tracking job - 30 yards.

I've got my confidence back. Now come to papa, big buck!

Did it again last night!

I have 1 deer tag left. Waiting for the 6.5 year old 210 class - OR the last day of the season. Looking to "tag out" archery style this year.

(I'll probably be waiting a long time).
