| My brother in law in Virginia got this 40 lb coyote yesterday with his bow. Coyotes with a bow is some serious business. Very difficult to draw on them because of their good eyesight. | |

| That`s cool to get that close with a bow...
Wonder if they have a bounty on them there? | |

| No bounty on them in VA. He's pretty proud of it and is going to have it stuffed. | |

| Here's his story.........
Hey Mike, who says there are no coyotes in Great Falls! I got this 40 pound male coyote this evening about 20 yards in the tree line behind your house. He was hunting with two other coyotes so I just wanted to give you a heads up when you let your dogs out. Be very careful leaving them by themselves outside especially around dusk and dawn. I've actually seen a coyote in your yard about two months ago as well so they are hanging around your area. No deer seen tonight. I wonder why! This was my first coyote with bow and arrow. They have extremely good eyesight are very hard to get within bow range. I yelped at this one as he was trotting behind my stand at 15 yards. I had about two seconds to get off a shot when I stopped him and luckily, the arrow found it's mark. We'll try to get the others as they present themselves.

| That coyote must have gotten his supplies from ACME. They're not smart enough to catch that darn roadrunner! | |
