Doves on Christmas

Late season dove reopens on Christmas day this year!!!!!! Merry X-Mas to me!!!!!!!!

Well lets put it this way you needed binoculars to see the birds, My buddy said we have Cheech & Chong birds........
...................Them birds was HIGH!!!!!!!! 1 Box of shells = 1 white wing..............SAD!!!!!

Sorry you had a crummy hunt, the bright side is, you got to go and tried..

I have had un-productive hunts, but never a bad one.
Heck one time I was so excited to go dove hunting I forgot my gun, didnt realize it till I got there!!..........
Still had a good time, throwing rocks at birds, busting chops on my no shooting buddies AAHHH "good times".......

Dove stew please....first the first time ever i had some of those dove breast with hot peppers... wrap in bacon..Man that was good!!!!!

hey nothing wrong with us cooks, word to the wise, be nice to the cooks, never know what you may be eating..coon,skunk, possum. hehe

If you are gonna mess with the cook, Then it would be safer to bring granola bars or something like that.......
At least you know what you are eating that way!!!!!!

I feel for ya on forgetting your gun. Went deer hunting once got to the back of the truck put on my pack, looked back and the truck was empty. My wife had moved my bow for some unimaginable reason, and being a creature of habit I always have my hunting gear ready in one place. I clear out that space and hop in the truck and drive, I never thought twice about the fact that not everything was in my space.

I guess that leave the rest of us on K P.....haha

yea, never know what will happen when you get the guys out there alone having a good time. Might get into trouble..I think it comes down to how fast we can run,.
