We had a newborn in our yard today. The doe attacked a lady walking her dogs by our house, so I figured she was protecting a fawn. Found the fawn tonight. That doe meant business - it chased the lady for a long way until a car came and picked her up.

Cute lil baby.. Hope he makes it through the summer okay, sounds like it's going to be a rough one. Already bad enough with the drought conditions.

It was pretty cool. I was even able to pet it. My mom wouldn't be happy. She taught me to not play with my food. Very Happy
