My name is Jeff Jeter, I started TCHA to find a way for my buddies and myself to get in the woods. It has now kind of got a life of its own and has gone through a metamorphosis of sorts and has become a lot more than what we first dreamed up.

I really do like this site and am excited to have found it in its early stage. I believe this will do wonders for many men and women and children. As far as computers, you seem to be doing a fine job here, I have been wanting to do something like this but did not have the know how and I am not too shabby on computers, so keep up the good work. You deserve more credit that you give yourself. . I actually have plans to do some things to get the word out on your site, and get more traffic this way, if you do not mind, that is. ?

Yo Hunt, Thanks for the kudos but I can not take credit for the website or the forum. I do the easy stuff like take the pictures and write the content. One of my board of director members does all of the computer work.

He has many years of computer experience. I had the vision for the TCHA and he took my vision and made it something tangible as in what you see today. His name is Jim.

Please, anything you want to do to help our cause would be great. We can help a lot more folks that way! We are open to any suggestions that you may have in making this site the best that it can be.

Great! I started posting some things online last night and will try to post links and directions to this site everyday for a while. Wish me luck, you may(Will) see a huge jump in traffic. Lots of things out there to do to make this happen, like hunting, you just need to know where to go!

Hi Guys, I didn't see this thread until this morning or I would have introduced myself earlier. My name is Ralph. My wife and I live in Roanoke. I've been in construction for 33 years mostly as a carpenter, spent the last few years in NJ as a superintendent building grocery stores. I hunt public land since I grew up on a farm in NJ hunting ours and neighbors farms, came to TX in 81 hunted public then, and back to NJ a few years back for work hunting the farms and now back to TX, I just can't afford the extra cash for a lease. So while public is a lot of work since you can't set up and leave it, it's worth it when you get the meat in the cooler. Oh and I got the nickname fyrdog when I was a volunteer firefighter and a fire commissioner in NJ

Yes, Welcome Fry, How has your success been hunting the public land, I have looked into it myself, but I dont know. Is there alot of hassel?

Well the public hunt is slow going, no hog sign at all, no turkey sign at all, and very little deer sign, but I know their there. I don't have any choice either I'll find some or I won't, I'll let you know.

This is my 39th year in the marsh, in many circles I am considered 'The Duck Whisperer'
I live in North Dallas but hunt on the coast - Anahuac, Bay City, Matagorda areas on my family properties.

I served in the Navy and retired as a F-LEO. I am now a computer guy.

Nice to see you here DB. I'm just trying to get my feet wet in the duck hunting venue " no pun intended". I may try to pick you're brain on a few things if that's ok.

Hey guys, Don here. I'm in Abilene, Tx stationed at dyess, afb. been here 10 yrs now and in thsoe 10 yrs have had no luck getting on a lease or place to hunt. I love to shoot weither its at the range or putting meet on the table. i eat what i kill mmhmm good! i love the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking. i love it all. i like to get off the couch and outa the house.

looking forward to things to come and i am pretty good with computers and websites and what not so if any help is needed in that area let me know and i'll more then gladly help out where i can.

didn't know about it. I got way too much going on this weekend so i wouldn't be able to be there anyways. but we are definitly going to have to get together sometime. i'm gonna be needing some range time soon with my rifle before long too.

yeah, i'm ready to get out there and put a hurt'n on some hogs. once i get on a place that is. i'm working with a few guys here in abilene trying to something going. next time i talk to them i'll going to mention TCHA and see where it goes.

Sounds Great we appriciate the plug.............and I might be able to get a
Labor for Cull hog hunt in south Texas some time in the near future!!!
Depending on the size and scope of the project it may require all of us to
handle it!!! We shall see.
