| The wind started out at 15 mph + before daylight and got higher as the day went along. Temperature started in high 60's and got to the lower 70's, overcast and a nice day. I fished three guys from the Denton area originally and they were fun. First stop a nice 16'' + trout, ok things are going to be good, well we didn't get another keeper for a long time. We work all kinds of areas, just couldn't get a bite going. But we managed to find some nice sheep head to get a lot of action from, we had to cull several just undersized fish. After getting our limit of sheep head we went back to the flats where there had been reds this week, but the water was stained and fish have been in 18'' or less water, we spooked fish as we drifted but couldn't get but a rat to bite. Despite the wind we had a great time on the water and look forward to doing it again. Thanks Guys for a great day. | |
