| The wind was lower than yesterday, but still high, I don't think it got over 30 mph today, but we had a great time anyway. Tide was lower than normal so we opted to leave later hoping the incoming tide would get a good bite going. Fish 4 boys they were troopers to try and fish in the wind, but we found some trout early as we drifted a semi protected shoreline. They had several misses, which is tough with the wind but did catch a nice trout for supper. I moved to several different area trying to get a bite going but just didn't happen, so we went back to the spot where we fished yesterday. Luckily the bite didn't take long to get going. They had a ball with those sheephead. We culled quite a few, but the bite was good and they had a great time. Thanks guys for a great day on the water. | |
