Looking for a 2006-2008 Z71 or 4x4 Chevy 1500 truck in great condition with low miles. needs to have 5.3 eng.... Ext. cab not crew cab ...looking for a 6 1/2 ft. bed or 8 ft. color:...not white!

I have used ebay for a long long time. Yes many cars sold and bought through there and is a good way to get ahold of some good deals as it is a auction. Most , I say most go with out a hitch. Cars and Trucks should be safe as you mainly pay and take possession in person. Never know.

I Have bought and sold on ebay for years but never a car or truck...I`ve been looking at the trucks on there and need to get down and read about all the fees etc that also has to be paid for, shipping....I would not buy a auto any where near the coastal areas but i wonder about the areas where it snows every year, with all the salt on the roads....

Yea, good call on the salty areas for sure. Most you should pay is when you register it, taxes and such. Ebay fees, seller pays. Delivery, mmmm, that would be a mutual agreement between you and the seller. From when I looked last , most you will have to go get unless other wise stated. IF you find something you like in my area, and want me to go look for you, let me know, I will do what I can.

Hey thanks again Hunt........Yea i been looking up there on CL in the San Angelo area cause you know i deer hunt 22mi north of Brady.....i found a few on ebay around Houston also....deer season on the weekends just been taking a lot of my truck huntin season away right now.. THIS DOG HUNTS!!

When you bought on e-bay did you buy local or have to have it shipped?

It was in Texas. The previous owner drove the car to me, so I could check it out. I know that ebay has certain protection set up for transactions. Not sure of the policy on vehicles. I would be afraid to buy something site unseen, at least without it being checked out first.

Yea i hear ya, i pass on a awesome 09 z71 LTZ with only 17k mi. for 24k.....it was in new condition but was not payed off ..we would have to wire the money to a out of state bank then wait for the owner to receive the title thats in his name .....i got cold feet but man it sure was a great truck!!!

Yeah, I would only deal with clear title.
